Showcase Game Rules

**SHOWCASE TOURNAMENT RULES & INFORMATION: **

1. Teams should report to their assigned field at least 30 minutes before game time.

2. Five runs per half inning in pool only!

3. ALL POOL GAMES on Saturday will be 80 minutes, with no new inning after 75 minutes. Finish the batter. If time expires before the inning is completed, the game is over (DROP DEAD).

4. ALL BRACKET GAMES on Sunday will be 80 minutes (finish the inning).

5. During POOL games, there will be FREE defensive substitutions, and lineup cards are not necessary.

6. During Bracket play, complete lineups will be required, including first name, last name, position, and number.

7. Home team/visitor will be determined by a coin flip. The HOME TEAM WILL BE THE OFFICIAL BOOK.

8. USSSA RULES APPLY unless a special rule supersedes them.

9. No protests will be accepted

10. Umpires will be paid $60 per game at the plate.

11. The run rule is in effect for bracket play: 12 runs after 3 innings, 10 runs after 4 innings, and 8 runs after 5 innings.

12. When the game is over, teams must leave the field immediately after shaking hands. We are on a tight schedule, so please adhere to this.

13. Please remember, this is an exposure event; therefore, no bad behavior will be tolerated by parents, players, or coaches.

REFUND POLICY

TOURNAMENT REFUND POLICY:

Once an event has started and then cancelled due to rain, lightning or any other reason out of the control of the event director the following guidelines will be in place. All monies not refunded as part of these guidelines can and should be credited to future events for each individual tournament company.

: 0 games played= full refund (minus 20% administration fee) This fee helps offset the pre-tournament costs associated with the event.

: 1 game played= 50% refund

: 2 or more games played= no refund

Louisiana College, Southeast Ark, BRCC, Holmes, Hinds, SMCC, LSUA, LA Tech, Meridian & John Melvin. We will  update as schools commit. 

CAMP INFORMATION

We're excited about this year's camp on Friday! Here's some important information to help you prepare:

**Pitchers and Catchers:**

* Check-in will be from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM.

* Please begin warming up after you check in.

* We'll start at 6:00 PM.

* **Important:** All pitchers must bring their own catcher.

**All Other Positions:**

* Check-in will be from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM.

* Please begin warming up after you check in.

* The second part of the camp will start at 7:00 PM. Pitchers and catchers are welcome to join us after they complete their specialized session.

**General Reminders for All Campers:**

* Please bring your own water.

* Ensure you have all your necessary equipment.

Fans enter at their own risk once entered we do not refund unless the complete tournament is called with no games played in any age group.
